Marvel at the Easter Message

Dear Spry Church Family and Friends,

This is the biggest weekend all year for our church and for all who follow Jesus! What an exciting time to be the church together. This week is what we call Holy Week because it's the week leading up to Easter. We have our Maundy Thursday service tonight, April 18, at 7pm and our Good Friday service April 19 at 7pm. Each of these special services focuses on a different aspect of Christ's journey to the cross for our salvation. These are some of the most meaningful times of worship we have all year. Every year people say, "I'm so glad I came to those special services. Easter has taken on a whole new meaning for me as a result." We encourage you to worship with us Thursday and Friday. Also, we invite you to our Community Easter Eve Celebration Saturday at 5pm. We'll have food, music, an Easter message, and an egg hunt, and all are welcome. On Sunday, Easter morning, we'll have our normal worship schedule as we gather to celebrate the greatest news ever, that Jesus is alive!

Easter is a special opportunity for us to play our part in connecting people with Jesus, which is our primary purpose. Who will you invite? Ask God for guidance, and then extend a personal invitation to people you know - family, friends, neighbors, co-workers - to our Easter services and events. An easy way to invite people is to send them this link, EasterForYork.com, either by email or through social media. Reach out and invite others to our celebration of Easter. It's going to be amazing!

Due to our growing attendance in worship, it's important for us to be considerate of those who need to park near our main entrance - such as those who use wheelchairs and walkers, the elderly, parents with young children, guests, and persons bringing supplies. We ask those of you who are physically capable to park in our three lower lots when possible. In addition, this Sunday we encourage street parking on Crestlyn Dr. or Circle Ct., as well as carpooling with family or friends.

Remember to invite, invite, invite! Thank you all and I will see you in church!

In Christ,

Ken
