This Weekend at Spry Church
Dear Spry Church Family and Friends,
How exciting to see all that God is doing in our church! To accommodate our growing crowds on Sunday mornings, we ask that those of you who are physically able please park in our lower lots (lots 2, 3, or 4) on an ongoing basis whenever possible. That allows us to keep spots in lot 1 available for our guests, those with limited mobility, or people who are carrying supplies or other things with them into our church building. Thank you.
Today is Troop 50's Community Blood Drive from 2-6pm in Rooms 100 & 101 at our church. Winter blood donors are needed! This is one way to make a difference for others, people you'll likely never meet. Molly's hospitalizations in December required blood transfusions to increase her low hemoglobin levels, so we are keenly aware of the importance of giving blood. Please contact Jennifer Dodson at 717-586-9154 with questions about this opportunity. Streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions.
This Sunday we conclude our series about thieves of joy and how we can overcome them. The last message in this series focuses on the secret to living with joy. This "secret" as Paul describes it (see Phillipans 4:12-13) is for all of us to hear, discover, and experience. Finding lasting joy will change how we view our circumstances, and how we live our lives. Unfortunately, many times we are inclined to settle for so much less than what God desires for us. Jesus came to bring us deep, abiding joy that does not depend on what is happening around us or to us, but is available to us no matter what. We'll hear more on Sunday. Come, and bring a friend!
