Why Spry? We're glad you asked! We have the name Spry Church for two main reasons. First, we want to identify with the community around us because we are committed to connecting with and serving our community, especially the community of Spry (just south of York) where we’re located. Second, this name also says something about what kind of church we are: a church that is alive in Jesus Christ. (Did you know the word “Spry” means active and lively? It does—look it up!) At Spry Church, our primary purpose is to share in the abundant life that Jesus came to bring.
